The Pousada Fordinho offers comfort, safety, and tranquillity for your vacation. At the pousada tourists can fish, explore, or simply enjoy pleasant days relaxing in the pousada's leisure area on the bank of the Paraguai River.

For fishing trips, we offer boats skippered by experienced captains who know the river very well, leaving the tourist free to enjoy the pleasures of sport fishing for the fish of the Pantanal such as Dourado, Cachara, Piraputanga, Pacu, and others.

Guests returning from a day's fishing on the river will enjoy our complementary assortment of delicious appetizers, which might include alligator nuggets with tartar sauce, fried fish, sashimi, piranha soup.

Our fishing trips are made in 6-metre-long boats that depart directly from the pousada, which is located on a branch of the Paraguai River about 200 meters from the mainstream. Our instructors will offer information about the Pantanal region and its fish.

Our restaurant features the delicacies of the cuisine of Mato Grosso and we offer an average of 10 different meat and fish dishes and an assortment of desserts at every meal. There is a variety of homemade goodies that grace out breakfast buffet.
